General Info & Logistics
What time should I arrive on Saturday? You should arrive between 9am and 10am to make sure you make it to our first workshop.
Where exactly is Bike Camp located, and what’s the best way to get there? Bike Camp is at Reflection Riding. Riding there is both fun and sustainable, but you can of course drive as well.
What happens if I arrive late? Don’t worry my friend. Just find a volunteer at the registration table, and they’ll take care of you.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket or confirmation email? You’re thinking ahead! Either’s fine.
Is there cell service/WiFi at the venue? Yes service, no WiFi
Is there a secure place to store my bike overnight? We will not have indoor bike storage, so I’m planning to bring a u-lock.
Vendor Questions
When should I load in? Load in will be on Friday from noon to 5pm. On Saturday you can load in before 9am.
When should I load out? Load out will on on Saturday after 7pm or Sunday before 1pm.
Can I sell things? You sure can!
What size is the vendor space? 10’x10’
Will tables and chairs be provided? No, you’ll need to bring your own
Can I bring a canopy or pop up tent? Sure can! As long as it fits within your 10x10 footprint. Need something bigger? Email mitchell@twobikes.org
What’s the vendor fee? A 10x10 vendor booth costs $125 and includes two weekend tickets.
Camping & Accommodations
Can I camp overnight, and is it included in my registration? Weekend tickets include overnight camping! If you’d rather sleep in a bed, you’re welcome to come and go as you please though.
Are RVs or camper vans allowed? While we don’t have room for RVs, feel free to bring your camper van as long as you don’t mind folks asking you about it :)
Will there be bathrooms and showers available? Yes bathrooms, no showers
Are there any nearby hotels or Airbnbs for those who don’t want to camp? Of course! There are tons of accommodations in downtown Chattanooga which is only a few miles away.
Activities & Rides
What are the ride options and difficulty levels? We’re hosting an advanced mountain bike ride, FTW-NB ride, Chiller Ride, and Lael’s Big Ol’ Group Ride. Full details will be on our website soon!
Are the rides no-drop, or should I be prepared to navigate solo? All rides will be no-drop except the advanced MTB ride.
Do I need to sign up in advance for any rides or workshops? Rides and workshops are first come, first serve.
Are e-bikes allowed? Heck ya.
Is there a way to rent a bike if I don’t have one? No, but you could buy a used bike from Two Bikes!
Are there bike repair stations or mechanics on-site? We wont have a full bike repair station on-site but dang do we have a lot of mechanics! Find a volunteer, and we’ll get you taken care of.
Can I test ride bikes at the event? We’re finalizing details with a few folks, so stay tuned about demo bikes!
Food & Drinks
Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free food options? Yup!
Can I bring my own food and drinks? Yup!
Will alcohol be available or permitted? Yup! We’ll have some complementary drinks and you can BYOB.
Is there potable water available on-site? Yup!
Packing & Preparation
What should I pack for Bike Camp? I’m planning to pack like I’m going bike packing (or in Rivendell language, going on an S240). I really like Swift Industries packing list here.
What’s the expected weather, and how should I prepare? That’s a million dollar question in the Southern Appalachians in spring. Here’s some weather estimation for April in Chattanooga, but in the words of Jeff Tweedy, “ten days, that sounds a little optimistic.”
Event Extras
Will there be any special guest speakers or panel discussions? Heck yeah! Lael is going to do a presentation Saturday night!

How can I support Bike Camp if I can’t attend (donations, volunteering, merch, etc.)? You can donate to Two Bikes, to our silent auction, or help us spread the word about Bike Camp on your social media.
