Two Bikes Chattanooga Staff

  • Mitchell Connell (He/Him) - CEO

Mitchell started riding bikes as a way to ride to his friends’ houses. Once he started commuting (and kept breaking his old bike) he started sweeping the floor at his local bike shop to try to convince the staff to teach him how to wrench.

Since then, Mitchell has dedicated his life to using the bike as a tool for social change and as a fun way to hangout with friends. Mitchell really likes touring, randonneuring, and commuting, and he’s always trying to remember to drink more water. Mitchell is a founding member of Two Bikes.

  • Maggie Carruth O'Connor

Maggie hails from Atlanta but has loved calling Chattanooga home since 2019 alongside her husband, daughter, and dog. When she isn't mom-ing, she's either working for the Tivoli Theatre Foundation, organizing events for TEDxChattanooga and Highland Park Porchfest, or hanging out with her friends. In general, she is passionate about connecting good people and good ideas.

Maggie started mountain biking after wrecking her knee in 2021 but has used her vintage road bike as a means for urban transportation since her college days. She is particularly excited to see Chattanooga become a more bike-friendly city and to get more people on bikes, particularly women and people of color.
